Technical services demand soars at Amusement Technical
UK-based theme park technical services and engineering company, Amusement Technical has secured a record number of control system and technical services projects in the first quarter of 2024. All systems are fully compliant with EN13814 and ASTM2291 standards.
- New drive and control system for Zierer Wave Swinger at Lagoon Park, Utah. This entails removing the hydraulic drive and converting to modern AC motors with inverter drives.
- New retrofit drive and control system for Huss Pirate Ship at Canada Wonderland. This is the latest of fifteen such installations worldwide where the hydraulic system is removed and replaced with an AC converter drive.
- New control system for Maurer Sohne multi-car Mouse Coaster at Pleasurewood Hills, Suffolk.
- New control system for Tivoli Move It at Adventure Island, Southend.
- New restraint locking system for Oakwood Theme Park’s Drenched Mega Splash in Pembrokeshire.
- Restraint monitoring and safety supervisory system for the S&S Shot Tower at Fantasy Island, Skegness.
